The whole world is trying to make a buck and promote their band or website or restaurant or electrical contracting business or whatever. So you put together a mailing list of customers and send out a newsletter or announcement of a sale going on.
How many of your emails end up in someone's spam box?
How many actually read the email? How many click on the ad in the email?
If you new you'd be in a very good position.
It could be that only 10 people out of the 250 that you sent it to actually read it.
This problem was really getting my goat so I was reading some information about email marketing.
I found an article by a woman who does this sort of thing all of the time, and she refers folks to this program called Aweber.
I looked at it (follow the link) and thought about it for a minute and then just jumped on the bandwagon because it was just what I wanted to be competitive and I love it.

I can see who opened the email and who just ignored it or deleted it.
There are really professional looking templates for newsletters that look like you know what you are doing.
They have something that will test your newsletter before you send it to see if it will raise a flag with the spam filters.
There are coupon templates and statistics to beat the band.
You can read more about it on www.Mail-Room.biz as well.
