A Texas man  named Joe Horn, 61, had phoned police when he saw two men break into his neighbor's home through a window in the daytime. while on the phone with the 911 operator he loaded the shotgun shells into the shotgun and it can be heard on the 911 call.

At one point he said "Now they weregetting away with a bag of loot. "
The 911 operator told him "Don't go outside the house, you're going to get yourself shot if you go outside that house with a gun. I don't care whatyou think."

"You want to make a bet?" Horn replied "I'm going to kill them."  then he did. Read the law for yourself and come to your own conclusions.
